The 2002 Australian Model 204 User Group Meeting was held at the Novotel conference center in sunny Coffs Harbour, New South Wales. Hosted by CCA and Sirius with participation from all of the Australia and New Zealand customers, it was a resounding success.

	The Campaign Tracking and Analysis Module (CTAM) was developed by NAB to ensure uniform review of marketing campaigns. CTAM uses a large amount of transaction data that is stored in Model 204. This presentation shows how the data is captured and analyzed and reviews some of the performance issues that arise.

	As the widespread adoption of the Web Services architecture enables distributed applications, single signon security is becoming more important. Kerberos is a protocol and framework for distributed authentication that was developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the mid 1980's. Kerberos was released to the public in 1987 and has been embraced by Microsoft as the default network authentication protocol for Windows®. This presentation provides a solid overview of Kerberos and the problems that it addresses.

	This presentation shows how tuning tools from Sirius dramatically reduce the level of effort required to tune Model 204 applications. Examples of unintuitive expensive code fragments are used to illustrate how to exploit the common "80/20" rule, whereby 80% of the resource consumption is caused by less than 20% of the code.

       If you are using Internet Explorer, choose Save it to Disk and click OK. Navigate to the folder on your local drive in which you want to save the Install program and click OK.
       If you are using Netscape Navigator, navigate to the folder on your local drive in which you want to save the Install program and click Save.
       
    3. Start Windows or Windows NT Explorer.
    4. Navigate to the folder in which you saved the Install program.
    5. Double-click flgwssp.exe.
    6. Follow the instructions.
    7. Once the install completes, restart your browser.

    1. Click the Animated PowerPoint Viewer icon.

• As a single document containing all foils. This is a convenient format for viewing or printing all the foils, although it can take a long time to download the entire document.
• As a linked set of foils. This is an easy and fast way to look at the first few foils. However, it is inconvenient for printing and requires a user/network interaction per foil.
